In Port Meadow, just to the north-west of Burgess Field.

Robert Buckell was Mayor of Oxford for the first time in 1885/6, and Francis Twining was Sheriff.

It matches exactly the following two stones, which are also dated 1886:

Port Meadow, near the carpark

Marston Meadows 2

Godstow

This is in better condition than the other three in this quartet, as the city coat of arms in relief at the top is intact.
