New College & St Edmund Hall: Wall to the east,
with Bastions 14 & 15

The east city wall runs close to and parallel to Longwall Street, which was outside the medieval town and named after the wall. It is no longer possible to view the east city wall from the other side because of the houses that were subsequently built on Longwall Street, and it now divides their back gardens from New College and further south from St Edmund Hall.
