but funerary monuments in churchyards are not included
Inscriptions inside buildings are not included, but a few interesting ones can be seen here
Inscriptions that just give the date a building was erected (sometimes with initials) are also omitted, but a database
of inscribed dates in Oxfordshire produced by the Oxfordshire Buildings Record can be downloaded here
