Conduit stone in Raleigh Park (1753)
This is not technically a boundary stone but is included for completeness. It stands in the middle of a field in Raleigh Park.

Carfax Conduit stood at Carfax in the centre of Oxford from 1610 to 1787, and the water was fed from the conduit house on the hill above North Hinksey.
The Friends of Raleigh Park believe that this stone probably marked the location of “a chamber holding water for an extension to a channel or vaulted gully diverting a spring to conduit house”, and their image shows the inscription more clearly.
